He was predeceased by: his parents, Soloman David and Florence Sparks; and his son Kent Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bowsher Sparks; his children, James Glendon Alexander (Jane), Mark A. Sparks (Callie), Jennifer Emanuel (John Hodge) and Dani A. Sparks (James Jackson); his daughter-in-law Debbie Sparks; his grandchildren, Kristopher Alexander (Neely), Evan Alexander (Jennifer), Mark A. Sparks, Chloe Sparks, Chelsea Sparks, Kaitlyn Emanuel, Riley Emanuel, Tristan Emanuel and Christopher Constance; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Sienna, Riah and Brynleigh; and his sister Carol Janice Jones.
