He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Emogene and Wallace Mayfield. He is survived by : his parents, John Mayfield and Mistie Mayfield; his grandparents, Elizabeth, James Benson and Charles Lance; and his sisters, Summer and Chloe Mayfield.

He could spend hours playing online with his friends and just recently during COVID he and his sisters enjoyed playing Terraria.

Summer Mayfield wrote a sympathy message

“I am honored to have known Jack, to have been his sister, and blessed for the time I spent with him. Jack was kind, funny, and a truly good person. I never thought that this would happen, and I would give anything and everything, do anything and everything, to go back and change it. I will look forward to the day I see you again for the rest of my life. I love you, Jack. Rest In Power.”
