He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Francis Morgan and John Jenkins; his stepfather Elmer Farrah Morgan; his brother Gene Morgan; and his children, Deana, Shirley, Bobby and Jimmy Jenkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Allen (Cole) of Louisville, KY and Christy Cole (Willard) of Lexington, KY.; and his former wives, Joyce Duke of Louisville, KY. and Carolina Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim's name to his beloved church, "Christ Centered Church", 2275 Eastland Pkwy, Lexington, KY 40505.
