He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Emma Chivers; his wife Faye Noe Chivers; his brothers, John, Jack, Howard and Ronald; and his great grandchild Joseph Tyler Bryant.
He is survived by: his children, Debi Lucas (Doug) and Connie Soto Garcia (Lorenzo); his grandsons, Joseph, Michael (Ashley), Matthew (Taylor) and Stephen (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Marely, Stephen II, Leilani, Ixcel, Delilah, Jaxson, Jordan, Joel and Buffy; and his great great grandchild Hayden.
