She is survived by: her husband Paul Harris; her caregiver Ellie Richardson; her children, Arthur Allen Abshire and Valerie; her grandchildren, Amy Gorman, Mindy McGirt (Ben) and Eric (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Maggie Gorman, Ian McGirt, Isaac McGirt, Nora Abshire, Judah Abshire, Elsie Abshire and Noah Abshire; her nieces and nephews, Karen Hutto, Debbie Wiles, DeAnne Vallo (Joe), Danni Wolfe, Anita Sizemore, Dawn O'Donnell of Phoenix, AZ, Steve Sizemore (Brenda), Duane Wolfe (Sandy) and Doug Abshire of Phoenix, AZ; and her sisters-in-law, Lola Abshire and Faye Abshire of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by her family including 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, Bluegrass Council for the Blind or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
