It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Garnett Wilkirson of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Joanna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joanna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joanna leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine. She is survived by: her father Clovis Lee Garnett; her husband Robert; her siblings-in-law, Steven and Kim; and her nieces and nephews, Alex, Jack, Ashley and Madison. She is also survived by her cousins; and many dear friends.
