He is survived by: his wife Carol Stevens Royse; his daughters, Jennifer Royse and Tracy Royse Davis (Jeff); his grandchildren, RoyseAnn Day and Daniel Day; his cousin Tom Dunn of Maysville; and his daughters, Misty Mink Lynch and Hilary Mink Holmes.
