He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William C Plumlee and Effie D Plumlee; his sister Billie Ruth Cox; and his brother-in-law Charles Cox. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Sheila Plumlee Sanders (Lance Ferguson), Scott C. Plumlee and Stuart D. Plumlee; his granddaughters, Dr. Ellen Van Norman (Jonathan Van Norman) and Dr. Riley Ferguson; and his great grandchildren, Bonnie L. Van Norman and Brooks C. Van Norman.
