He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Jackson and Mildred Brown Jackson; his siblings, Marshall Jackson Jr., George Jackson, Anna L. Cayson and Mary F. Fontenot; and the mother of his child Betty Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shavon Khadiri (Christopher Wood) and Daylanka Adams (Dwight); his sisters, Betty McClain, Peggy Overly, Linda Webb, Carolyn Dunn and Mildred Dunn; and his grandchildren, Kamar Collins, Khyaire Thompson, Avery Adams and Azaria Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
