It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judith Goodpaster of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Goodpaster; her parents, Jess Updike and Ella Clae Blevins Updike; her son James Goodpaster; and her sister Geneva Duncan.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Goodpaster (Pat) of Lexington and Stuart Goodpaster of Lexington; her grandsons, Robert Goodpaster (Chelsey) of Union, KY and Danny Goodpaster (Julie) of Lexington; and her great grandchildren, Nate, Lincoln, Shelby, Annabelle, Bane, Penny and Grayson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
