She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Hampton Young; her parents, Bessie Elliot Riggs and Richard Asbury Riggs; and her son Steve Young. She is survived by: her children, Lucy Vanhook of Brodhead, KY, Tommy Young (Linda) of Lexington and Robert Young (Pennie) of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Gibbs, Rebecca Gibbs, Tyler Young and Hampton Young. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
