Katie Sullivan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katie Sullivan in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on August 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Katie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Katie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Greenwade and Edna Carrol Greenwade. She is survived by: her children, Don C. Sullivan II (Seldon), Cathy Sullivan and Carol Sullivan Simms (Paul H. III); and her grandchildren, Jacqueline Meriwether and Paul H. Simms IV. She is also survived by friends and caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Milward's Funeral Directors (1509 Trent Blvd, Lexington, KY 40515). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens (4915 Harrodsburg Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
