He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hatchell Sr. and Mary Katherine Cissel Hatchell; and his siblings, Mark Allan Hatchell and Kathryn Nickens. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Christopher Hatchell (MaKenzie) of Lawrenceburg, KY. and Katherine Grace Bellman (Bradley) of Lexington, KY.; his grandchildren, Kaylin, Natalie, Andee, Wes Hatchell, Ella and Riley Bellman; and his siblings, Wade Hatchell Jr. of Lawrenceburg, KY., Robert H. Hatchell of Canyon, Texas. and Vickie McDonald of Lawrenceburg, KY..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Son Funeral Home (332 S Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery South Main.
