He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Leatherman and Kenton Leatherman; and his sister Jayne Walker. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Cissy" Chrisman Leatherman; his children, Elizabeth Leatherman of Lexington and David; his daughter-in-law Carrie Leatherman; his grandchildren, Hazel and Owen Leatherman of Chelmsford, MA; his siblings, Sarah Leatherman, Nancy Bartlett (Michael) and William (Bill) Leatherman (Elizabeth); and his brothers-in-law, Chris Chrisman (Sharon) and Hal Chrisman (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Second Presbyterian Church (2preslex.org, 460 East Main St., Lexington, KY 40507) or UK Markey Cancer Center.
