She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Bob Kirby and Elsie Kirby; her husband Ed Spicer; and her siblings, Vickie Pridgen, Dorcas Kirby of Florence, Kentucky, Vanessa Wilson (Ed) of Warsaw and Robert Kirby (Lari) of Cincinnati, Ohio.. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and their children.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, or to the charity of the giver's choice, with thanks for those expressions of love.
