In loving memory of Lavern True of Lexington, Kentucky, who departed this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Lavern leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Peavey and Tommie Wooley Peavey; her husband Harry True; and her siblings, Leland, John Peavey and Frances Bowling.
She is survived by: her daughter Nikki Falconbury (David) of Lexington; her grandsons, Joshua Falconbury and Jacob Falconbury; and her sister Margaret Murphy of Liberty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home (752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Gideons International.
