He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" Welch and Mary Welch (Williams); and his brothers, Richard Welch (Mabel) and Frank Milton Welch (Ruth Ann). He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Welch; his sons, Keith Welch (Kathy) and Brian Welch (Melanie); his grandchildren, Holly Holmes (Tim), Aaron Welch (Erin), Kathryn Chevalier (Matthew) and Daniel Welch (Kelsi); his great grandchildren, Abigail, Natalie, Jillian, Josephine and Anthony; and his great great grandchildren, Annie and Kaden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Berean Baptist Church (2145 Middle Bellville Rd, Mansfield, OH 44904). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lexington Cemetery (123 Main St, Wheeling, WV 26003).
