He was predeceased by : his father Russell Jones Sr.; his siblings, Howard Coleman Jones and Margaret Louise Clay; his grandfathers, Louis Madison Clay (Margaret) and Howard Jones (Hazel); and his aunts and uncles, Christine Hamilton, Lenora Winslow, Evelyn Jones, JT, Nelson and Allen Clay.
He is survived by : his mother Ophelia Jones; his son Louis Christopher Jones Jr.; his granddaughter Angel Jones; his friend William Mason Jr.; his siblings, Anna Shaw, Lillian, Martha, Virginia Jones, Russell Jones Jr. and Donald Lee Ragland (Debra); and his aunt Virginia E. Jenkins (Don). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
