It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Christison Dunn of Lexington, Kentucky, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband James Morgan Dunn, Sr.; her parents, Grover Christison and Julia Cooley Christison; and her brothers, James Christison, Hardin Christison, Herbert Christison and Louis Christison.

She is survived by : her daughters, Shirley Riley (Jerry) and Sherry Luckett; her granddaughter Stacie Lyn Smith; her great grandchildren, Austin Lee Riley Davis, Caitlyn Mackenzie Davis and Kaiden Michael Billy Smith; and her great great grandchild Luna Donner.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road with private burial to follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Oleika Shrine Transportation Fund, 326 Southland Dr., Lexington, KY 40503.Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road is in care of funeral arrangements.

“Shirley and Sherry, Your Mama was unique. I enjoyed the times that I got to spend with her at the trailer. She would tell me stories about the family and always welcomed me when I came up. I know you both will miss her. I still miss my mom but have learned to think of all the good times we had together. Just as I hope you both will, the funny moments, even the hardships, and the laughter you all shared. I send many prayers for you both. Miss you all so much. Theresa Coleman”
