She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Spence of Lexington; her parents, Dan Medlock and Luada Carpenter Medlock; and her brothers, Tommy, Leonard "Buddy" and Ray Medlock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Justice (Steve) of Lexington and Kim Spence of Louisville; her granddaughter Lindsey Justice Hamlyn (Evan) of Lexington; her great grandchild Collins Hamlyn; her brothers, Danny Medlock (Pat) of Richmond, Joe Medlock (Joan) of Lake Placid, FL and Jack Medlock (Jean) of Richmond; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Boggs of Springboro, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
