She was predeceased by: her parents, Rutherford L. Allison and Myrtle R. McCord Allison; her husband John William Gorey; her siblings, Danny Allison and Evelyn Rosser; and her nieces, Janie Hord and Laura Simms.
She is survived by: her siblings, R. L. Allison (Ann), Carol Mason and Brenda Scheek (Edward); her nieces and nephews, Walter Allen Rosser, Lee Allison, Wayne Scheek and Allison Alexander; and her close friends, Carolyn Bland and Karen Howard. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
