The passing of Mary Jane Gorey of Lexington, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rutherford L. Allison and Myrtle R. McCord Allison; her husband John William Gorey; her siblings, Danny Allison and Evelyn Rosser; and her nieces, Janie Hord and Laura Simms.
She is survived by: her siblings, R. L. Allison (Ann), Carol Mason and Brenda Scheek (Edward); her siblings' children, Walter Allen Rosser, Lee Allison, Wayne Scheek and Allison Alexander; and her close friends, Carolyn Bland and Karen Howard. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brell & Son Funeral Home (620 E 2nd St, Maysville, KY 41056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
