She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shepherd and Edna Shepherd (McGeorge); her husband Wilbur Earl Gabbard; and her siblings, Elmer Shepherd, Etta Robinson, Jeanette Neeley, Carson Shepherd, Lee Shepherd, Dodie Tincher and Ronnie Shepherd.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Gabbard (Melinda) of Louisville, KY and Wayne Gabbard of Lexington, KY; her sister Mary Lou Tankersley of Annville, KY.; her grandchildren, Ryan Gabbard (Dianna), Patrick Gabbard (Aimee) and Erica Gabbard; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Gabbard, Nicholas Gabbard, Christopher Gabbard, Beatrice Gabbard, James Gabbard and Abigail Gabbard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
