She was predeceased by: her husband Duncan McQuarrie; and her parents, Charles James and Charlene Knight James. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Charles Tibbetts (Wendy), Colin Alexander McQuarrie (Dani), Sean Brandon Tibbetts (Amanda) and Ryan Michael McQuarrie; and her grandchildren, Ashton Harnung (Adam), Kristen Robbins (Jeffrey), Alyssa Elliott (Steven), Colin Alexander McQuarrie III, Emily Tibbetts, Delaney Tibbetts, Tatum McQuarrie and Leighton McQuarrie.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Daughters of the Nile or the Lexington Humane Society.
