He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Morgan and Ethel Morgan; his wife Jo Ellen Littrell Morgan; his son Mark Morgan; and his siblings, Coburn Morgan, Doris, Beatrice and Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Candi Rasmussen of Lexington, Jill Morgan of Lexington and Danny Morgan (Lynn) of Lexington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center, 100 Veterans Drive, Wilmore, KY 40390, for the kind service that the staff gave to Mr. Morgan and to all veterans who served this country.
