It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Nair of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nair Pillai and Marie Pillai; his siblings, Margaret, Angeline and Michael (Mickey); and his nephew Christopher.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Chandra (David Farris), Maya Lucia and Alex; his siblings, Lionel (Maryrose), Cyril (Geetha) and Sheila; and his sisters-in-law, Claire, Frances and Mary (Darcy).
