She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Ison and Lona Hampton Ison; her husband Robert "Doug" Ison; her siblings, Donald Ison and Lucille Sallee; and her nephew Mark Stephen Mullins.
She is survived by: her son Robin Gillum; her sisters, Barbara Osborne and Wanda Mullins; and her granddaughter Sarah Marie Gillum.
