We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2025, at the age of 83, Philip Erwin Wilson of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Frankfort, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. Wilson and Mary McNabb Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Kay; his children, Emilie W. Stanley, Craig P. Wilson and Patsy E. Wilson; his sons-in-law, Ford Stanley and Jeff Wheeler; his grandchildren, Paul Stanley, Emma Stanley, Graham Wilson-Wheeler and Clara Wilson-Wheeler; his brother Earl S. Wilson Jr. (Steve Wilson); and his sister-in-law Pamela G. Wilson.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milward-Southland (391 Southland Dr, Lexington, KY 40503). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Lexington, KY in honor of Phil Wilson.
