He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hord Fowler and Norma Colleen Fowler (Ruggles). He is survived by: his wife Karen Hagan Fowler; his stepchildren, Betsy Wade and Jim Wade Jr. (Ari Berman); his granddaughter Katherine Hall; and his sister Teresa Terry.
