He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Coy and Daisy Nell Hornback (Rice). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Hornback (Collins); his children, Katherine "Kit" Hornback (Jason Rothrock) and Raymond "R. R." Hornback Jr. (Jacqui Baker); his grandchildren, Zachary R. Rothrock and Anna K. Rothrock; and his pet Kodi Ray.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (3801 Polo Club Blvd, Lexington, KY 40509). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Andover First United Methodist Church (3801 Polo Club Blvd, Lexington, KY 40509).
