With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Krause of Lexington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Krause and Ethel Krause. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Richard Krause, Jr. (Karen) and Maribeth Burton (David); his grandchildren, Matthew Burton (Ginny), Douglas Burton (Liz), Heather Fagerlie (Eric), Suzanne Ellison (Joel) and Christine Krause; and his siblings, Betty Williams and Gary Krause (Marilyn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

At the top of a 20 foot ladder and leaning onto a 12/12 sloped roof, I identified the leak but could not work on it at that height and slope. Then he said, "Well, when I was up there I. too, thought that was where the leak was."😱 I said, "Dick, you're over 80 years old! You should not be on 20 foot ladders!!" He grinned and said, "Well, I didn't go onto the roof."☺️ Now he is even HIGHER!😇”
