With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Mansfield Lane of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on May 26, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Lane and Irma M. Lane; and his brother Arthur A. Lane Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Cynthia Anne Hague (James Tommy) and David Lane (Michelle); his grandchildren, Meghan Potter (Nathan), Sarah Lorimer (Seth), Amy Bridges (Jason), Hannah McClenahan (Matt), Isaac Lane (Ashley), Aaron Lane, Elijah Lane, Tiffany Rader (Nathan) and Amber Hague (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Mason, James, Graham, Charlee, Malachi, Myles, Olive, Addi, Jack, Holden, Sam, Josephine, Isabel, Sofia and Auxier.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lexington Humane Society.
