With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rick Tremaine Sturgeon (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2026 at the age of 59. He was predeceased by: his father Ed Sturgeon; his aunt Margaret Osborne; his cousin Kaelyn Bullock Hand; and his granddaughter Konneri Sturgeon. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Sturgeon of Lexington; his son Brannon Sturgeon (Kenadi); and his former wife Teresa Slone. He is also survived by 4 beautiful grandchildren.
