He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bivens and Maude Mabel Hogsette (Adkins); and his wife Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Richardson. He is survived by: his sons, Robert H. Hogsette, Jr. (Susan) of Lexington and David S. Hogsette (Renjie Liu) of China; his grandchildren, Kate S. Stith (Evan), Paul R. Hogsette (Lauren), David S. "Scott" Hogsette, Jr. and Christopher S. Hogsette; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Mason and Michael Stith.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Penwell Funeral Home (168 W Main St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
