Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Beulah; and his brother James Francis Lail. He is survived by: his wife Happy Lail; his daughters, Dana L. Lail and Leah Lail (Matt); his grandsons, Alex Holland (Andrea) and Daniel Holland (Lexy); and his great grandchildren, Austin and Vivian Holland. He is also survived by many other family members, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the Lail family asks friends to donate funds to Paws 4 the Cause in Lexington, Kentucky.
