We announce the death of Sharon Ann Unseld of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 70. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Harold and Helen Duncan Banta. She is survived by: her husband Bill R. Unseld; her children, Brian Minton (Kara), Chris Unseld (Jeannie) and Andrea Wombles (Chad); her brother Tim Banta (Kathy); her grandchildren, William M. Unseld, Caleb Wombles, Emilie Unseld, Savannah Wombles, Kye Minton, Olivia Faulkner and Sidney Faulkner; and her pet Spike. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel (363 W Main St, Carlisle, KY 40311).
