She was predeceased by: her husband John S. King, Sr.; her parents, Menifee (Florence Triplett Spencer) and Shirley; and her sisters, Lena Wasson and Bonnie Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Musick (Dave) of Cape Coral, FL, Melissa McFarland (Tom) of Richmond and John "Scotty" King Jr. (Lisa) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Amanda Lockaby (Matt), Emily Cheatham (Keena), David Musick (Brittany), Whitley Fisher (Danielle) and Anna Muller (Jack); and her sister Peggy Buckler (Wayne). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Antioch Christian Church to honor of her life and legacy.
