She was predeceased by: her parents, George Burke and Goldie Ray Burke; her husband Hays Cowley; and her son Michael Thomas "Tom" Cowley. She is survived by: her son Joseph Alan Cowley; her grandchildren, Lauren Alexandra, Stuart (Holly), Tamara (Phil Marquis) and Travis Cowley; her great grandchildren, Pierce, Harrison and Walker Cowley; and her daughter-in-law Myralee Smith Cowley.
In honor of her legacy and in lieu flowers, the family would like donations directed to the Lexington Humane Society.
