Shirley Grubb Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Grubb of Lexington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Mays and Vonda Mays (Clark); her husband Arthur Grubb; and her sister Delores Scott. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Monroe (Sid Monroe) of Georgetown, KY, Jeffery D. Grubb of Lexington, KY and Melissa Gilliam (Shawn Gilliam); her grandchildren, Cameron Grubb, Regan Gilliam and Raven Gilliam; and her sisters, Lois Smith of Lexington, KY, Judy Jasper of Bryantsville, KY and Bonnie Cecil.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - E. (463 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508).
