It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Slyvia Moore of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Slyvia leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Slyvia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gatlin and Mary Rose Scott Gatlin; her husband Kenneth Ray Moore, Sr.; her stepmother Mary Lou Gatlin; her brother Billy Gatlin; and her stepbrother Lairy Noffsinger.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Moore (Carrie) of Lexington, KY and Kenneth Moore, Jr. (Glenda) of Columbia, MO; and her grandchildren, Logan Moore, Leslie Moore and Jason Moore.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Church (312 Combs Ferry Rd, Winchester, KY 40391).
