It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen L. Barker of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Murray Barker. He is survived by: his father Judge George Edwin Barker; his wife Carolyn Bond Barker; his children, George Thomas "Tom" Barker (Leigh DeLair) and Margaret Curlin Barker (Jeff Ogar); his grandchildren, Hunter Moloney Barker, Henry Julian Barker, Stephen Charles Ogar and Elizabeth Jane Ogar; his sister Penelope "Penny" Jane Ebel (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Ida Elizabeth "Libba" Bond (Vicki Howard), Thomas Hunter Bond, III, James Paul "Paul" Bond (Susan) and John Tharp Bond; his aunt Judith Mayrwieser; and his nieces, Jessica Leigh Bond, Melissa Bond McDivitt (Justin), Megan Ebel, Taylor Ebel (Brandon Fox), Sarah Bond (Curt Pruitt) and Annie Bond Tacker (Kirby).
