She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Murphy and Canaan Metcalf Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Terry Powers; her daughters, Tiffany Powers Sparrow (Stephen) of Danville and Terra Powers Torterello (Joseph) of Fairfield, Connecticut; and her brother Phil Murphy (Vicki) of Lancaster. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
