He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dixon and Ella Dixon; his son David T. Dixon; and his sister Mary Jo Sharp (late Russell). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Freeman Dixon; his daughters, Claire Sale (late Ron), Linda A. Heaslet (Bob), Mary E. Whitley (Jody) and Barbara R. Rehmel (Steven); and his brother Donald L. Dixon (Jane). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
