He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Thomas E. Moore and Kathleen Moore; and his siblings, Brenda Marriner, Anna Lerron and Dr. John A. Moore Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn W. Moore; and his children, Thomas E. Moore III (Anita), Lorenzo Moore and Monyelle R. Moore.
