He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper J. Ortner and Clara Ortner (Kurtz); and his siblings, Leo (Milly), Roy (Delores), Eugene (Marcie), Ron (Lucille), Hugh, Max (Pat), Dennis and Marguerite (Richard Schmitt).
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Kay Linderwell of Strawberry Point; his son Craig; and his daughter-in-law Ann. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
