He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance Annette Wilson (Popeo) and Paul David Wilson; and his brother Dwight Vincent Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Russell and Danny Prater (Tiffany Lewis); his foster sons, Adonis Shakur Thomas, Charles Thomas Keller and Angel Milla; his brothers, Warren J. Wilson and Paul Robert Wilson (Becky Wilson); his nieces, Kelly Wilson (Brent McGee) and Melissa Wilson; his nephew Landon Wilson; and his friends, Eric Durbin, Carol White Durbin, Miriam Moosnick and Bernie Lovely.

The family welcomes donations to the Big Brother Organization, reflecting Wayne's lifelong commitment to caring for others.
