He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldie True, Sr. and Delora Ethel Atwood True; his siblings, James True, Tom True, Dr. Elmer True, Pearl Sharp, Lula Wilson, Thelma Sweeney, Iva Dean Woodrum and Elizabeth Grider; and his son-in-law David Chaney.
He is survived by: his wife Iva Lee Rodgers True; his children, Valerie Chaney, Mike True (Judy) and Terry Brackett (Rick); his grandchildren, Dr. Matt True (Jeania), Delora Severance (Chad), Rebecca Perez (Marco), Reed Chaney (Lindsay), Dr. Audrey Nichols (Justin) and Kim True; his great grandchildren, Olivia Chaney, David Chaney, Itzli Perez, Micheal Wayne Cox, Anna Beth True, Wesley True, Bowen True, Jonah Severance, Bryce Severance, Cooper Nichols and Charlotte Nichols; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy True and Lila Rae True. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
