She was predeceased by : her parents, John Lee Rankin and Isa Lou Serratt Rankin; her daughter Misty Lee Hill; and her siblings, Fred, Shine Rankin, Patsy Rankin and Jeanie Balch.

She is survived by : her daughter Christy Cochran Hill; and her sisters, Joann Titsworth, Sandra Jackson and Rosie Dickinson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
