He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Newton Cochran and Bertha Lenora Peyton; his daughter Marla Medcalf; his great grandchild Lillyan Fathergill; and his siblings, Marshall Cochran, Ashel Cochran and Nora Cochran.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Cochran (Teresa) of Versailles, Jeffrey Cochran of Versailles, Steve Cochran of Lawrenceburg and Carla Cochran of Indiana; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Makayla, Abbey, Ashley, Jeffrey "Brian", Hailey, Tory, Kellie, Madison, Katie, Noah and Madeline; and his brother Lonnie Cochran (Sherry) of Indiana. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
