She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Cain and Ada Morgan Cain; her husband Lloyd Short; her sons, Craig Price and Jay Price; and her siblings, Florence Anderson, Arlie Legg, R. T. Cain, Bill Cain and Elmer Cain.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Price of Liberty, Jill Smith (Bruce) of Hustonville and Jan Thomas of Russell Springs; and her siblings, Irvin Cain of Middleburg and Carolyn Lombardi of Virginia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM and at 12:30 PM at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel (142 KY-49, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland 100 Parkway Drive Somerset, KY 42503.
