He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Clarence and Chelsie Marie Abell Black; his daughter Betty Ann Black; his grandson Eric Scott Wilkerson; and his brother Joseph Edward Black.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Goforth Black; and his children, Lisa Sue Coffman of Liberty, Victoria Lynn Wilkerson (Scott) of Freetown, IN, Sylvia Marie Hatter (Jeffrey A.) of Yosemite, One and Joseph Oscar Black (Yazmin) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren.
